Tabs originally downloaded from 911tabs
The excellent TuxGuitar provided transcription of GP5 files (long live open source); and CutePDF provided the portable document format. Free online storage is courtesy of 4shared.
IA’s note: Where possible, I would urge you to download the guitar pro (GP5) files. You can use the Guitar Pro 5 demo version to open these files but the demo expires after 15 days. So, what do you do. TuxGuitar, that’s what. I am completely enamored by this little software that could. But if you just want a straightforward tabs, I have pdf-ed the guitar parts. The reason why you see several guitar versions for the same song is because the parts are broken down to guitar 1, guitar 2, accoustics etc as per they are played in the original composition.
If you don’t know how to read tabs, Fretplay has the best and easiest-to-follow instructions.
I am also putting a permanent page at the top of this blog dedicated to guitar tabs.
greaaaat job!!!!
thanks!!!
thanks, I try :-)
lol speaking of guitar… i put on the 97-98 concert DVD last night (Regress or Progress i think) and Tahara had shoulder length hair and like 70’s clothes haha… he played with so much more energy too, seemed like a real guitarist… not like the overly serious uncle he looks like these days hehe I like his understated style tho. just looks bored half the time haha
The regress~progress DVD was the first ever DVD I bought in my entire life and it was the reason I bought myself a DVD player (I did it backwards – DVD first, then saved up money for the player). It was darn expensive those days no? Around late 90’s, I think it costs RM1.5K++ or something like that. After that I had to buy the 29″ TV (I only had a 21″ then, which was overused with PS1), and then the surround sound, the popcorn and microwave to pop the popcorn… et cetera. This DVD was the beginning of a very expensive multi-purchase affair :-)
i’ll just keep posting on this hehe… I remember i bought the Regress-Progress DVD from Tower Records in KL Plaza (it’s gone now isn’t it?) even tho at that time i didn’t know much about Mr C. because i liked japanese pop, and i liked that song, “Everything (It’s You)”… I definitely wasn’t a real fan like you ^^ all that money spent for a concert DVD! hehe… now look at those prices!
one more thing, wanted to recommend the bank band CDs! soushi souai 1 and 2… really good, especially 2. Terrific… It’s a lot easier to get japanese here i guess, but if you can find them, definitely worth it.
it’s very hard to find anything jpop in Malaysia lah.
another thing I’ve noticed. sakurai seems to be wearing a lot of red. In fact he’s been wearing something red throughout 2008. Any reason for that? would anyone know?
